Wednesday 27th September 2023

Dear *|FNAME|*

The principal aim of the founders of this museum was to establish a centre that could rescue representative samples of everyday buildings from the Southeast of England. A recent restoration was the Dairy, originally situated on the Eastwick Park estate in Great Bookham.

More recently, the museum has attracted additional interest as the home of the BBC programme ‘The Repair Shop’.

The coach will leave Lower Shott at 9.30am, leaving the museum at approximately 4pm to return. The cost, excluding your lunch but including ticket and coach, will be £30.

For lunch, the museum has a cafeteria, or you can bring you own refreshments and sit outside at the picnic tables.

The number of places on this trip is limited so an early response is likely to be required. If you are interested, please contact Brenda Keddie by ‘phone on 07816 256682 or by e:mail bmkeddie@talktalk.net letting her know how many places you would like. Brenda will confirm whether sufficient spaces are available.

For those who will be attending, payment for this trip is required before the 15th of September. The Committee’s preference is that you pay by bank transfer – Fetcham u3a, 40-18-02, 31402803 (nb. a business account) using “WealdYour surname” as the Reference. Please let Brenda know once you have paid.
