Bird & Nature Watchers

After meeting as a bird watching group for over 10 years, we are broadening our interests to include other aspects of nature, to run alongside our main interest of birds Our renamed group Bird and Nature Watchers, meet around 9.30 am on the second Wednesday morning of each month for a local walk or visit to a reserve, often including a coffee-stop. Occasionally we will enjoy a day trip further afield, while most January’s find us meeting indoors for slides, a film or to discuss the programme for the coming year. Though not great experts, we enjoy the exercise and sharing our love of nature with friends. As most of our meetings are outdoors, there is always space to welcome new members, so if you feel like giving us a try, please contact me.

Local trips have included: Warnham Nature Reserve; Bookham Common; Buckland Lake and Knepp.
