Explore London Walking 2

We are a very social group and our monthly explorations are supplemented by occasional meetings for coffee and meals together in a local restaurant. Our trips may involve distances of up to 5 miles but always at a pace that allows us to take in the places of interest that London offers. Group members take turns to lead the walk, identifying places of interest and not forgetting good places for coffee and lunch. Our longest walk was “Green Chain walk between Crystal Park and Honor Oak stations taking in Horniman Museum. We have visited Kew Gardens, Battersea Park and the Power station, Spitalfields, Regents Canal from Little Venice to Kings Cross Station. We are a diverse group in terms of age (and energy) so, when we plan a longer walk we ensure that at lunch time it would be possible for some to leave if unable to complete the whole walk. We would welcome some new members as some of us can no longer take part in the London walks. We now meet when a social event is planned locally. If interested contact Anna or the web page.
