Chatham Historic Dockyard

Trip to Chatham Historic Dockyard

Thursday 11th July 2024,

We are planning a trip to the Historic Dockyard at Chatham for Thursday 11th July. The coach will leave Lower Shott in Bookham at 09.30 and, traffic permitting, return there about 16.30.

The dockyard has many interesting exhibits, including the famous Ropemaking building. In addition there is also an opportunity to have a guided tour of the Call the Midwife Exhibition. This will require a minimum of 20 people to commit to this extra aspect.

You will need to make your own arrangements for lunch. There is a cafe at the Dockyard or maybe take a packed lunch.

The cost will be £35 per person for the basic visit to the Dockyard, or £40 per person if you wish to add the Call the Midwife tour.
