Understanding AI & its Repercussions for Society, Now and in The Future

Artificial Intelligence cannot be avoided in the news with comments ranging from
praise for its astonishing benefits to alarming stories of the end of humanity. This study day, led by
members of U3A’s “AI for Everyone Team” with support from the University of Surrey, will explore
what AI is and how it works, provide a case study of its application, discuss the issues and
